A COMPLICATED PROJECT
RBV Contracting was brought in to help rework the 88th Regional Support Command Maintenance Building for the Rock Island District of U.S. Army Engineers. We were happy to be part of this project. The scope included:
- Selective demolition
- Providing temporary facilities
- Abatement
- Replacing vehicle and pedestrian gates
- Concrete work
- Masonry
- Mechanical
- Painting
- HVAC
- Electrical work
- Fire detection
- And more
This was our first contract with the Rock Island District of Army Corps. Since the completion of this project, RBV Contracting has been brought in to complete several more projects for the Rock Island District.
A STELLAR EXAMPLE
As the project neared completion, RBV was happy to take several representatives from the Office of Advocacy and the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) on a tour of the project. The group learned about RBV Contractingβs work and was able to view some of the Humvees at the installation.
We view this project as a prime example of RBV Contractingβs ability to tackle large, complex projects while operating within a tight timeline.
