IMPROVING ARMY FACILITIES
Our team was thrilled to get to do more work for the Rock Island District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. For this project, we focused on renovating and improving the existing Donald C. Schorling Reserve Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The scope included:
- Demolition and renovation of three restrooms and shower stalls
- Installation of new ceilings and flooring
- Mechanical work
- Electrical work
- Plumbing work
- Sprinkler upgrades
- Life safety installation
- Installation of new doors and hardware
- Interior painting and signage
- Demolition of old flagpole and installation of a new one
- Demolition and subsequent installation of windows
- Concrete work
In all, we renovated offices, restrooms, and Military Entrance Processing Stations. The RBV Contracting team wanted to ensure the reserve center had the facilities they needed to do their jobs effectively.
SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS
This was one of several projects weβve completed for the Rock Island District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In fact, we were happy to return to Ann Arbor after completing our Southfield project just a year before this one. Click here to read more about the Southfield project.
