A HUGE UNDERTAKING
This project is one of the largest ones we have ever tackled. It required our team to clear land and install a multi-use trail along the eastern bank of the Des Moines River in the City of Fort Dodge, Iowa. The scope of work included:
- Stripping
- Clearing
- Grubbing
- Construction of a multi-use trail
- Construction of safety fence
- Design and construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls
- Stone placement
- Box culvert installation
- Design and construction of a culvert headwall
- Bituminous paving
The RBV Contracting team gave this project our all. It was our first project west of the Mississippi, so we were excited to break ground.
PROVIDING A PUBLIC SPACE
This project focused on the creation of a multi-purpose trail that locals could use to enjoy the beauty of the Des Moines River. We approached the project with care and a focus on safety at all times.
